Volunteer Background Checks and Clearances
At Northwest we strive to ensure a safe environment for our players and their families. An important aspect of ensuring a safe environment is our commitment to follow all federal, state, and Little League International regulations for our volunteers.

In order to volunteer at Northwest Little League, in any capacity, a volunteer must complete two items:

1.    JDP Background Check:  Performed free of charge. Please enroll as a volunteer on the Northwest Little League player registration form. This clearance must be completed annually.

2.    Abuse Awareness Training: The course is free of charge here, this certificate should be sent to [email protected]. This training must be completed annually. 


ASAP Safety Plan
Northwest also complies with the requirements of Little League International in all 15 areas of our qualified, A Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) Safety Plan. This plan is updated every year and the 2026 plan can be accessed here.
